Personal Story: A Difficult Pregnancy and God's Presence
God chooses you for tough battles and spiritual warfare on earth. When writing this, I was encountering a hard pregnancy. At the time, I did not know what the outcome would be for both my daughter and I, and I was terrified. At times, I felt like God left me, and other times, I felt God’s strong and intense presence.
Reflection: Trusting God Through Life’s Challenges
These chapters are real moments in my life through my marriage, health, finances, and life stressors. Throughout this time in my life, I learned what it takes to trust God to provide all that I need. I learned that I will never have the best action plan for myself because I am only human. I learned that ultimately God will do everything in His will, and I am supposed to be a participant in this life.
Application: Finding Strength in God's Plan
There were many times in the past and present where I asked God, “Why is this happening? Why me? Why would You choose me for these problems that I have to endure on earth?” In times of death, pain, agony, demonic attachments, and small sparks of joy. In times when you have been obedient to God and have been following His words, yet the battle just feels harder.
I want you to know that God is here. God knows what He is doing, and He has a plan. God's plan is better than our own, and the pain is truly a part of the process to sanctify us to be more like Christ. God uses everything, so the pain you endure will give God the Glory.
Why My Voice Matters: A Journey of Faith and Leadership
You might wonder why you should listen to my story and what I have to say. My experiences are not just about surviving hardships; they are about thriving through them by leaning on God. Throughout my life, I have faced various challenges—from leading over 100 women in a sorority to navigating deep personal losses, to finding my way back to God when all seemed lost.
As someone who has earned a degree in Africana Studies and a Master’s in Christian Leadership, I have both the academic background and the spiritual depth to offer guidance. My journey is a testimony to God’s faithfulness, and my life’s work is now dedicated to helping others discover the peace and purpose that come from trusting in Him.
Whether you’re struggling in your faith, seeking direction, or just needing a reminder that God is in control, my words come from a place of experience, education, and a deep commitment to walking with God.
