Opening Verse: "O my God, my soul is cast down within me; Therefore I will remember You from the land of the Jordan, And from the heights of Hermon, From the Hill Mizar. Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; All Your waves and billows have gone over me. The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, And in the night His song shall be with me—A prayer to the God of my life." – Psalms 42:6
Opening Reflection : There are times in life when everything feels overwhelming. Maybe you're facing disappointment or dealing with the weight of emotions that seem impossible to process. I’ve been there. I remember days where my heart felt heavy, and my mind was filled with questions, fears, and uncertainty. In those moments, I had to remind myself that God understands me—deeply and completely.
Daily Devotion
During one of the most delicate times in my life, I felt like I was drowning in waves of sorrow. My emotions were all over the place, I found myself in tears, wondering why things were happening the way they were.
We were dealing with medical challenges and financial uncertainty. Doctors weren’t always right, and it felt like everything was outside of our control. But even through the chaos, I could feel God’s presence reminding me that He understood my pain.
There were days when I couldn’t see a way forward, but I kept singing and worshipping to God. Because even though I was struggling, I knew that God was in control. He understood my saddeness when things felt impossible. He gave me hope and his word that his plan that was for me to prosper and not to harm me.
God Understands Your Struggles:
You may be going through something that feels impossible right now. Maybe you're facing a health challenge, financial struggles, or a broken relationship.

It’s easy to feel like no one understands what you’re going through, but God does. He knows exactly how you feel. Just like He was with me during my most difficult days, He’s with you too.
The weight of uncertainty, fear, and doubt can make it difficult to move forward, but I want you to know that God is not surprised by any of it.
He understands your emotions. The waves that crash over you, the sorrow you feel in your heart—He gets it all. And He wants to remind you that even in your struggle, He is working on your behalf.
Steps of Faith:
We often try to control everything in our lives sometimes, the best thing we can do is let go and let God handle it. He knows what He’s doing, even when we don’t. There were times when we got money just in time or when a doctor’s appointment turned out better than expected. It wasn’t because of anything we did—it was because God opened the doors at just the right moment.
You might be tempted to take on the stress yourself, to feel guilt, shame, or pressure when things don’t work out the way you want them to. But the devil is a liar. God has a plan for you, and He’s fighting your battles even when you can’t see it.
Scriptural Foundation:
Jeremiah 29:11-13 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Living Out Your Faith:

Read over the scripture and know that God has a plan for you, and it is one bigger than you and I can even imagine.
Do not just stress about the unknown, Talk to God about it. Write it down and Seek him and you will find him. God wants you to have a relationship with him. He is giving you space to connect and grow closer to him. Instead of daily worrying that will add nothing to your life, start praying about those things and leave them on the altar to God. God can handle all of our big emotions. He will give you all that you need and will provide for you. Give the stress and unknown back to God, it is to heavy for us to carry those burdens.
